Dave Garske
Vice President @Hoffman Construction Company
Dave Garske is a vice president of Hoffman Construction Company, where he has dedicated the last 26 years of his work. He graduated from California Polytechnic State University with a BS in Construction Management in 1989 and from Southwestern College with a degree in Architecture in 1986. Dave has been responsible for the success of many of Hoffman’s most challenging public projects that all share the common theme of creating a positive, enduring legacy. These include multiple projects for the Port of Portland, the Capitol Renovation in Salem, the University of Oregon Knight Campus for Accelerating Scientific Impact and the Knight Law School, the Oregon Convention Center, the Portland Expo Center, Hillsboro Stadium, Tri-Met’s Washington Park Station, and others. Dave has been closely involved in transforming and improving the PDX airport for over 15 years, beginning with the PDX Headquarters and parking garage, Baggage Screening Improvements, QTA, and others.
Joe Schneider, LEED AP
Skanska USA- Account Manager, Senior Vice President, Joint Venture Executive @Skanska USA
Joe is a Senior Vice President at Skanska and a Joint Venture Executive for the Hoffman Skanska JV at the PDX TCORE project. Joe is a 24-year veteran of the industry focusing on serving a variety of clients and market sectors in the Portland area including Aviation, Transportation, Higher Education, K-12, Hospitality, and Office among others. Joe has a background in architectural design, engineering and construction. He received his Masters of Architecture at the University of Oregon and his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He’s a registered Architect, is DBIA-certified as well as LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified.
Vince Granato
Chief Project Officer @Port of Portland
Vince Granato was named the Port of Portland’s Chief Project Officer in December 2019. This position was created out of a need for focused oversight of the Port’s $2 billion series of projects referred to as PDXNext, which will increase the size of Portland International Airport (PDX) by 40%. Vince has over 32 years of experience with the Port of Portland in various managerial and financial capacities, most recently serving as the Port’s Chief Operating Officer, where he was responsible for all operating functions for the Port, including Portland International Airport, a two-airport General Aviation reliever system, and all of the Port’s marine terminals.
