Road to the Referendum: The Advent of Regulated, Recreational Cannabis in New Jersey
Get on the inside track on issues of importance for entrepreneurs and other business professionals planning to participate in New Jersey’s cannabis marketplace.

With polls predicting a majority of the New Jersey electorate in favor of cannabis reform and legalization, odds are in favor that the referendum creating a legal, regulated cannabis marketplace will pass on Election Day. A favorable outcome is just the first step. On October 8, less than a month to go before the vote, Brach Eichler Cannabis Law Co-Chairs John Fanburg and Charles Gormally will present a program with key Murphy Administration officials to discuss the major implications of a legal, regulated cannabis marketplace in the state of New Jersey.

Joining Fanburg and Gormally to provide the Murphy Administration perspective will be Joseph D. Kelley, Deputy Chief of Staff for Economic Growth, and Parimal Garg, Esq., Deputy Chief Counsel.

The following topics will be discussed:
• How is New Jersey poised to take action after a positive vote?
• Long- and short-term revenue projections for the industry and for tax generation.
• Connectivity with medical cannabis licensees. Are licenses an open playing field?

There will be a brief Q and A after the presentation.
