The Honorable Pamela Pepper is the chief judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Then-President Barack Obama nominated Pepper in May 2014 to fill a vacancy on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Pepper became the chief judge in 2019. Prior to joining the federal court, she was the chief judge for the Eastern District of Wisconsin bankruptcy court. She has also served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Northern District of Illinois from 1990 to 1994 and in the Eastern District of Wisconsin from 1994 to 1997. From 1997 to 2005, she worked in private practice as a criminal defense attorney, where she handled both trials and appeals in state and federal courts.
Mary Triggiano
Chief Judge @Milwaukee County Circuit Court
Milwaukee County Circuit Court Chief Judge Mary Triggiano was appointed by the Wisconsin Supreme Court in February 2020 to serve as chief judge of the state’s First Judicial District, which is comprised of Milwaukee County. As the chief judge, Judge Triggiano is the administrative chief of the judicial administrative district and is responsible for the administration of judicial business in circuit courts within the district, including supervising its personnel and fiscal management.
